With over 6,000 sq ft. of indoor event space and a grand lawn overlooking the islands of Maine, The Wentworth Event Center is an exceptional destination for festivities of all forms in any season. Situated atop 10 acres of manicured southern sloping waterfront property, the Center features the 3 private convention rooms over 2 floors, a large commercial kitchen, 2 private bars and a grand lawn for outdoor events. With each room overlooking the historic Penobscot Bay, guests will be treated to an ever changing view of lobster and sail boats, ocean going ships, and even the occasional wildlife.
The Wentworth Event Center is owned by Lloyd Wentworth and events are coordinated and hosted by Jennifer Emerson, both life long natives of the Belfast area. The team is dedicated to making your celebration seamless and spectacular by working with contractors from the community to create a personalized event centered on your input and ideas.
A Little History
Constructed on the site of a former Sea Captain’s home, The Wentworth Event Center is a post and beam structure built in the 1970’s and is adorned with giant rough hewn timbers, large arches and ships knees- creating an elegant yet rustic feel.
